This animated short blew me away with its gorgeous animation, original score and the fact it took dozens of volunteers nearly five years to make. Writer/director/animation mastermind Lucas Martell says that when he started the Pigeon: Impossible project, it was mostly an excuse to learn 3D animation. Well, learn he did. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pixar tried to scoop him up....
